    A fantastic Maths qualification gained in just one year for those not wanting to study a full A Level Maths course. Core Maths is a Level 3 qualification which holds UCAS points for University. This course is particularly suitable for those students who are studying the following A Level subjects; Psychology, Economics, Business Studies, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, and are not planning on doing A Level Maths alongside. The course provides support with the maths content in these subjects.

    This course is particularly suitable for those students who may not be considering A Level Mathematics, but are looking to study the following A Level subjects:

    • Geography

    The course has a more problem solving approach with real world maths applications that are required in the course content of the subjects listed above.

    Some examples of what you will cover include:

    • Analysis of data
    • Maths for personal finance
    • Statistics and probability
    • Critical analysis of given data and models (including spreadsheets and tabular data)

    Another benefit of Core Maths is that some universities have lowered entry requirements given that you achieve a good Core Maths grade.

  • Entry Requirements

    A minimum of 5x Grade 5s, including Maths.
