The tourism industry is growing both in the UK and Worldwide and many countries now rely on it as one of their main sources of generating revenue, employment, private sector growth and infrastructure development. Our Level 2 qualification is highly recognised by the tourism industry and is perfect to help you improve your academic writing and learn more about the different sectors of the tourism industry. We work closely with tourism employers who help us to plan our course and ensure it is current and reflects what is happening right now; with this diverse industry. We have a variety of guest speakers and visits planned to help you gain a first-hand experience of the industry. This will boost your subject knowledge and enhance your assessment preparation.

- Entry Requirements
For our Level 2 Pre-Advanced courses our entry requirements are 4 x GCSEs at Grade 3, Maths or English Language/Literature at Grade 3 and Grade 2 in the other subjects. Level 2 courses last for 1 year.

- How will I be assessed?
This course is 100% internally assessed and includes a variety of assessment methods which are designed to enhance your academic skills, build confidence and improve communications skills. We will assess you through written reports, presentations, roles play, Vlogs, Blogs and group work. Therefore, good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
- Progression Pathway
Once you have completed this course you can progress on to the Level 3 Tourism Management programme, apprenticeships or directly into employment.
