  • Overview

    The BTEC Level 1 Diploma for IT has been designed to provide a broad educational basis for further training, further education or for moving into appropriate employment within the IT sector.

    The TLM level 2 Extended Certificate in IT User Skills in Open Systems and Enterprise is a practical course aimed to equip individuals with the IT user skills needed for full participation in further education, employment and society.

    The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT is intended to give learners a good grounding in all aspects of computing and will provide the means to study a specialist area at university.

    L1 and 2 courses are assessed via internal portfolio building, with the level 3 course being assessed by a range of different methods including examinations, controlled assessment and internal portfolio building.

  • Entry Requirements

    For our Level 1 Pre-Advanced courses the entry requirements are 1 x GCSE at Grade 3, 1 x GCSE at Grade 2 & Maths or English Language at Grade 2 and Grade 1 in the other subjects.
